Mr Wang Chun Lin was appointed as Executive Director in March 2004 and Executive Chairman in August 2005. As the Executive Chairman, Mr Wang is responsible for the overall corporate policies, business development and management of our Group. Since 1996, Mr Wang has been the Chairman of the Penyao Group, which operated the environment protection business before they were taken over by our Group. Prior to that, he was working in Yixing City Gaocheng Environment Protection Equipment Factory (“Yixing Gaocheng Factory”) since 1987, which was the predecessor of Yixing Penyao. He held various positions in Yixing Gaocheng Factory, including the positions of Factory head and General Manager. His experience in Yixing Gaocheng Factory gave him more than 15 years of experience in the wastewater treatment industry. Mr Wang is the elder brother of our Chief Executive Officer, Mr Wang Hong Chun.

Wang Hong Chun
Mr Wang Hong Chun is our Chief Executive Officer. He was appointed as a Director of our Company on 15 June 2000. Mr Wang was one of the founders of Yixing Gaocheng Factory, which was founded in 1984. Since 1992, he has been the General Manager of Penyao Group. As our Chief Executive Officer, Mr Wang oversees the management, technical and operational matters of our Group. He is also involved in the research and development of various environmental protection products, with more than 10 products that have been patented in PRC. Mr Wang has been awarded several technological advancement awards from various government departments in PRC, including the State Ministry of Agriculture, Jiangsu Department of Agriculture, Wuxi City and Yixing City. Mr Wang is also a member of the China Association of Environmental Science, a national association set up by the government for the promotion of R&D relating to environmental protection.

Zhang Guo Qing
Dr Zhang Guo Qing was appointed as our Non–Executive Director on 8 May 2002. He joined Jiangsu Penyao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (“JPP”) as its President in 1997 and is Chairman of JPP now. Dr Zhang holds a doctorate degree in Pharmacy from Kyushu University in Japan, which he obtained in 1992. Subsequent to this, Dr Zhang took on a postdoctoral fellowship at Canada’s University of Saskatchewan from 1992 to 1995. Thereafter he joined a Canadian company, Pytogen Pharmaceuticals Inc. from 1995 to 1997.

Jen Shek Voon
Mr Jen Shek Voon was appointed as our Independent Director on 29 October 2003. He is currently a Senior Advisor to Ernst & Young, but no longer performs any professional work for the firm. He had been a Partner of Ernst & Young since 1980, serving major clients in Singapore and Brunei and has acted in the region as its Executive Partner-Far East and Country Managing Partner of its Brunei firm until his mandatory retirement in December 2002. Mr Jen is a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors. In addition, he is a practising member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Singapore (ICPAS) and a member of the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA), British Computer Society (BCS), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is an accounting graduate from the University of Singapore (B Acc., Hons, 1970), and has a post-graduate Commerce degree with Honours from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia (M Comm., Hons, 1975). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Tan Chong Huat
Mr Tan Chong Huat was appointed as our Independent Director on 8 July 2003. Currently, Mr Tan is a partner of Khattar Wong & Partners, a firm of advocates and solicitors in Singapore. He graduated with a degree in law from the National University of Singapore in 1989. He is an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, and a Commissioner for Oaths. He is also admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. Mr Tan is a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitration, and an accredited arbitrator with the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. He is also a member of the Economic Committee, Singapore Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry. Mr Tan is an ad-hoc lecturer for several post-graduate degree programs conducted by the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
